The wide sweep of Table Bay north of the city will take the visitor through the residential suburb of Milnerton, past the Rietvlei wetlands and onto Table View and Bloubergstrand. The area is collectively known as Blaauwberg.

The Rietvlei wetlands and lagoon which is popular for its abundant birdlife, is the relatively new area of Table View.
